Each child is allocated a team colour which stays with the child throughout the school.
T-shirts in the team colour – red, yellow, green or blue, navy shorts, black pumps for indoors and trainers for outdoors.
Trainers with black soles will NOT be allowed in the hall
The Brambles uniform is Chilli Red hoodie, white polo t-shirt and black or grey skirt, trousers or leggings.
Brambles logo hoodies and t-shirts can be purchased at Identity. Plain t-shirts can be purchased at any supermarket.
If ordering from Identity the colour of the hoodie is Chilli Red other suppliers do not have this colour hoodie.
Please ensure that all items of clothing, bags and coats brought into school are clearly labelled with your child’s name. If items are misplaced, while we will do our upmost to help locate misplaced items, school will not accept responsibility for lost items.
The only jewellery permitted in school is one pair of small stud earrings for those with pierced ears, one plain signet ring and a watch. Necklaces and bracelets may not be worn. All jewellery must be removed for all sports activities including swimming. For this reason we request that if a child’s ears are to be pierced, this is done in the summer holidays in order to prevent them being excluded from sporting activities. Trainers and other named sportswear are not allowed in class. High-heeled boots, shoes and platformed soles are not suitable for school.
Uniforms can be bought from most supermarkets and local clothing stores, most items can be embroidered with the school logo at various outlets in the town centre including My Clothing, Cumbria Embroidery & Print and Identity . This is optional and not a requirement of the school. Items may also be available at St Mary’s Hospice Shop in Portland Walk, Barrow.
