School Councillors
We actively promote pupil leadership and pupil voice through our School Council. Vickerstown School Council is made up of two members from each class in Years 1–6, and councillors are elected by their peers. They represent the views, suggestions and ideas of their classmates and meet regularly to discuss ways to improve our school environment and school life.
Recent activities have included supporting our Harvest Festival through donations to local foodbanks and being involved in reshaping our school behaviour policy. Our School Council helps to reinforce British values, including democracy, respect and responsibility, by giving pupils meaningful opportunities to influence decision-making in school.
